OPINION: What Doctors Don’t Tell You – Dangerous Hypocrisy

They mention MMR vaccine, Gardasil vaccine. They report on scientific studies.

"Conventional cancer treatments work 12% of the time. Chemotherapy actually works only 2% of the time. We're losing the war on cancer."

NPP: Wow, those are low figures.

"... information from Oxford, from Harvard, from Yale...enormous schism between what research people are doing and what is actually practised in the field, and that gap is getting wider and wider and that's actually what we're reporting on."

The Times does a hit piece on them.

"The Times never contacted us for any comment at all."

"By 9am that morning a TV program was reporting how awful we were and calling us the seed of the Devil, that was The Wright Stuff on Channel 5... we knew nothing about this, we were not invited onto the show. A trial without the suspect being present. This was followed by a hysterical radio show describing us as fairy dust or something of the sort..."

"However, it's now turning... we're reporting on what's wrong with these reports.... this is being picked up and going viral... people are cancelling The Times, cancelling The Guardian (NPP really?) .... the source for this story is Simon Singh and Sense About Science which is a pharmaceutically backed organisation sponsored by the British Pharmaceutical Association (Society), the very industry we're attacking... the 4th estate (media) used to attack a corrupt Presidency like Nixon's, now they've become the Nixon of the piece..."

"... we wouldn't be doing our job well if we were not getting this type of blow back, the public need to know a lot of information about new treatments is being suppressed and that's where we come in."

Sense About Science: We are a charitable trust that equips people to make sense of scientific and medical claims in public discussion:
